Two Palestinians killed and more than a dozen wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Jenin camp
Tehran - Sahand Azadi News Agency - At least two young Palestinians were shot dead during clashes with Israeli forces in the Jenin refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.

According to Press TV, Palestinian sources, who did not want to be named, said the recent attack on Thursday morning came as hundreds of soldiers, including members of the Dodwan elite commando unit, stormed the camp as part of an attempt to arrest suspects across the West Bank. .

Witnesses said residents clashed with attacking forces, who fired live ammunition and fired tear gas at Palestinians.

The official Palestinian news agency Wafa identified the victims as Sanad Abu Attiyah, 17, and Yazid al-Saadi, 23.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, two young Palestinians were killed in a large-scale attack by the Israeli army on the Jenin camp.

Palestinian health officials say 14 Palestinians have been shot dead by Israel, with three seriously injured and one moderate.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health later said tear gas canisters were fired near the Jenin State Hospital and a gas-filled emergency room, causing panic and confusion.

The incident comes as three separate Palestinian martyrdom operations over eight days have killed 11 Israeli settlers, an increase that has not been seen over the years and may continue.

On Tuesday night, a Palestinian man named Dia Hamarcheh shot dead five people, including a policeman, in the town of Bani Brak in eastern Tel Aviv.

On Sunday, two Palestinian gunmen killed two Israeli security forces and wounded four others in a shooting attack in the northern Israeli city of Hadra.

Following the March 22 attack, a Palestinian man was stabbed to death near a shopping mall in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba, killing four Israeli settlers.

Meanwhile, when the ethnic cleansing of more than 700,000 Palestinians took place with the destruction of more than 500 villages with the creation of Israel in 1948, a former Israeli military general threatened the Palestinians with another catastrophe.

Yuzi Diane, a veteran Israeli military commander and politician who served as a member of the Knesset for the Israeli parliament, made the threat in an interview with Channel 14 television.

“What we have to say to the Arab community, even those who did not take part in the attacks, is to be careful,” he said.

He said that if we reach a state of civil war, everything will end in one word and a situation that you know is the same as evil, will end and eventually it will happen.

The Palestinian operation has left many Israeli settlers fearful of further tensions, while others, especially on the far right, have called for a strong response from the Tel Aviv regime.

Provocations and attacks against Palestinian communities have also intensified.

Shortly after Tuesday’s attack, large numbers of Israelis gathered in the area, where anti-Palestinian chants were heard, including “Death to the Arabs.”

Israeli settlers carried out several attacks on Palestinians and their property on Tuesday.

In the village of Al-Laban al-Sharqiya, 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) south of Nablus, settlers cut down about 170 olive trees and damaged villagers’ homes and vehicles with stones.

A group of settlers also attacked several cars in the village of Marda, breaking their windows and damaging their wheels before fleeing.

In addition, Palestinian resistance groups issued a joint statement declaring that the Palestinian people are united in their opposition to the Israeli occupation, illegal settlement activities, and racist policies.

The groups stressed that Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and other parts of the occupied territories have reached a consensus on reaching a national consensus to close differences and achieve political unity.

They said that the Palestinian people would never surrender to the Israeli regime and would continue to fight until the end of the occupation.

Resistance groups also criticized the recent meeting between the foreign ministers of the UAE, Bahrain and Morocco – the three Arab states that normalized relations with Israel in 2020 – and an Israeli official in the occupied Negev region.

They are competing with each other to meet with the Israeli occupation authorities in order to assume their historical and national responsibilities to the Palestinian people, the occupied city of Jerusalem and its holy sites, and to take effective measures to stop this process seriously. The factions pointed out.
